Slitherine Software, Strategiefans möglicherweise dank Spartan oder der Legion-Serie bekannt, bieten ab sofort anderen Entwicklern im Rahmen des Kameleon-Projekts ihre Unterstützung bei der Produktion ihrer Spiele an.
Die Dienste decken fast das komplette Spektrum des Entwicklungsablaufs ab, sei es Beratung beim Konzept, Aushilfe bei der Programmierung, PR bis hin zu Unterstützung bei Vertragsverhandlungen. Der Service der Engländer richtet sich vor allem an kleine und junge Teams, denen oft die Expertise in einem oder mehreren dieser Bereiche fehlt. Mit dem in diesem Monat erscheinenden und vor allem an Hardcore-Strategen gerichteten Commander - Europe at War gibt es auch schon ein Spiel, das unter Mithilfe Slitherines produziert wurde. Commander – Europe at War is the first in a series of high level turn based strategy games. It is being jointly developed by Firepower Entertainment and being released Slitherine Software. The first game spans WW2, allowing players to control the axis or allied forces through the entire war in the European Theatre. Can Germany’s rise be stopped or will the jackboots of the SS march through London.
