The game relives the “Seven Years War” occurred between 1754 and 1763, involving most of the great powers of the time. It was defined by Winston Churchill as the first real "world war" because it was the first war in history to be fought not only across Europe, but also in various parts of the globe where the European powers had colonial possessions.
The two sides in the conflict were the Coalition of Austria, France, Russia, Poland, Sweden and the Alliance between Britain and Prussia, the new European power that possessed a formidable war machine and, above all, a great and ambitious leader, king Frederick II.

Rise of Prussia Gold is available as a full new game or as an upgrade kit for Rise of Prussia. NOTE: The Upgrade Kit is compatible with all non Steam versions. We will be releasing a Steam version as soon as we are permitted. About Rise of Prussia Gold

Rise of Prussia Gold is the new and improved version of AGEODs Seven Years War (1757-1763) game set in Europe. This hugely detailed strategy game was initially released by AGEOD in 2010 and the Gold version adds numerous improvements and additional scenarios that take the game to the next level.

The original game is set during the age of famous king Frederick II, featuring Prussia and her allies in her grand fight against the Coalition led by Austria with France, Russia, Sweden and the Empire.
The Gold version includes 3 new scenarios. Two cover the key moments of the Prussian intervention during the War of Austrian Succession (1740-1748), where king Frederick II fought on the battlefield for the first time. The third is a 4-players campaign of the 1757 to 1763 years has been included to enhance competitive gameplay experience.

For anyone who already has the base game Rise of Prussia, a small upgrade kit can be purchased instead of buying the full game.

Ich würde daraut tippen, dass es auch eine französische Variante gibt. ;)

Deutsch dürfte auch dabei sein, bei Spanisch bin ich mir nicht sicher. Die deutschen Handbuchergänzungen waren leider nicht rechtzeitig fertig und werden offiziell erst mit dem nächsten Patch erscheinen. Bis dahin dürfen sie aber per Buschpropaganda verteilt werden (siehe angehängtes pdf).

Das Upgrade-Kit kostet nicht viel, doch wüssten wir schon gerne, ob sich das Upgrade lohnt, vor allem in Hinsicht darauf, ob dadurch Spielspaß und/oder Anspruch gesteigerter werden.

Und haben sich die zwei Jahre Arbeit von AGEOD zur Verbesserung des Spiels gelohnt?

Uns würde noch interessieren welchen Umfang die neuen Szenarien rund um den Zweiten Schlesischen Krieg haben.

Besonders ansprechend finden wir übrigens die 4-Spieler-Variante des Siebenjährigen Krieges. Haben die werten Regenten bereits Erfahrungen damit gesammelt?

Tja da ROP doch eine ziemlich Baustelle ist(wie die meisten AGEod Spiele) auch mit allen Patches frage ich mich auch ob ROP Gold daran was geändert hat.

ich habe mir RoP gekauft und darauf gehofft, dass es ein deutsches Handbuch enthält. Dies ist leider nicht der FAll. Hat von Euch jemand eine Idee wo ich ein deutsches Handbuch als pdf herbekomme? Im netz gibt es nur das in englischer Spache.
